Enterprise Singapore, Dhruva Advisors, Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) are pleased to organise a seminar, “Update on the India Interim Budget 2019 and Recent Changes in the India Tax and Regulatory Landscape”.

On 1 February, Interim Finance Minister of India, Mr. Piyush Goyal, announced India’s Interim Budget 2019. It was the last by the present Modi government ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in May, and has been hailed as being pro-poor and pro-development.

India has retained its standing as the world’s fastest growing major economy despite global factors taking a toll. The World Bank has predicted GDP growth at 7.3 percent in 2018 – 19, spurred by increased consumption and investment, as well as gains after a temporary slowdown due to demonetization and the implementation of GST.

What will Interim Budget 2019 mean for Singapore companies looking at India?

We invite you to join us and hear from the experts.
