Mr. Suan Teck Kin, Head of Research, Executive Director, Global Economics and Markets Research, United Overseas Bank (UOB)

Teck Kin joined UOB as an economist in 2006. In his current role as Executive Director in Global Economics and Markets Research, he is responsible for macroeconomic and foreign exchange research with a primary focus on China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and secondary coverage for the ASEAN region. As a member of the Research team, he presents the team’s market views regularly to the Bank’s management team and clients in Singapore and the region.

Teck Kin has more than ten years of experience in macroeconomic and equity research. Fluent in English and Mandarin, Teck Kin is interviewed frequently by local and international print and broadcast media, as well as financial newswires on the economic and market outlook.

Prior to UOB, Teck Kin held various positions in equity and credit analysis in other financial institutions in Singapore, Canada and Taiwan.

Teck Kin graduated with a Master's degree in economics and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Simon Fraser University, Canada. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

Mr. Mark Amatya, Director, Global Mobility Services, PwC Singapore

Since joining PwC Singapore in 2008, Mark has coordinated the delivery of compliance and consulting services across the region to clients in all industry sectors.

Mark leads PwC Singapore’s Managed Mobility Service offering, providing outsourced assistance to enterprises to successfully deploy personnel overseas. 

Mark supports Singaporean SMEs to create a competitive advantage through providing an exceptional employee experience. He has help companies better manage their employment tax, payroll, social security, immigration, HR and employment law obligations.

Mark has also contributed thought leadership articles and publications on a range of HR, mobility and personal tax matters, including diversity, wellbeing, up-skilling and preparing today's workforces to remain agile and ready for the future.

Mr. Mike Lee, Director, Global Business Services, Singapore Business Federation

Mike is the Director of Global Business Services at Singapore Business Federation (SBF). He oversees GlobalConnect@SBF’s Advisory Centre and promotion of GlobalConnect@SBF. Prior to this, he was the Director of ASEAN at SBF where he was responsible for raising companies’ interests in ASEAN and facilitating their expansion into ASEAN.

Since 2010, Mike has been deeply involved in working with companies on Internationalisation. He was with International Enterprise Singapore (now known as Enterprise Singapore) as a Senior Manager in Free Trade Agreement Division to advocate and assist companies in utilising Singapore’s network of 18 Free Trade Agreements then. In International Enterprise Singapore, he also account-managed companies where he worked with them on their internationalisation strategies and facilitated in their obtaining of relevant government assistance. Prior to joining SBF in 2017, Mike was with a boutique consultancy firm as an Internationalisation Consultant.

Mr. Kenneth Sim, Director, ASEAN, Global Business Division, Singapore Business Federation 

Mr Kenneth Sim is the Director, ASEAN at Singapore Business Federation, overseeing the ASEAN market strategy and internationalisation portfolio. He joins SBF as a secondee from Enterprise Singapore (ESG) with the responsibilities of raising companies’ interests in ASEAN and facilitating their overseas expansion. Back at ESG, Kenneth held the position of Deputy Director and oversaw the Southeast Asia portfolio and overseas offices in Vietnam. He was previously in charge of Infrastructure Solutions; and had also been appointed Centre Director of Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait, where he facilitated the entry of Singapore companies into these emerging markets. Prior to ESG, Kenneth worked as Senior Assistant Director of the Ministry of Trade & Industry where he focused on SME development policies and anchored the pro-enterprise initiative to implement the Online Business Licensing Service. Kenneth graduated with a Degree of Bachelor of Social Sciences with Honours in Economics from The National University of Singapore in 2001.

Mr. Kenny Wang, Chief Operations Officer, Igloohome

Kenny is the founding member of Igloohome, a smart access solution company. Coming out from Singtel together with this co-founders, he dreams to build a world without keys. Right now, Kenny serves as the COO of Igloohome which has more than 100 employees and distributors across 80 countries. Kenny was also nominated for Forbes Asia 2020 30under30 and recently featured in CNBC International.

Mr. Pang Fu Wei, Group Managing Director, Kim Hin International

Better known to some as the Baby Boss, Pang Fu Wei is the Managing Director of KHI - the mother and baby group known for bringing in brands like Mothercare, Cybex, Tommee Tippee, and Jujube to Singapore. Fu Wei joined the family business seven years ago, and spent his first four years in every business function before taking on the role of Managing Director in 2017. Having learnt the business from the ground up, Fu Wei brings a keen sense of business acumen to the role. During his time in the organization, Fu Wei oversaw the acquisition of toy retailer, Early Learning Centre, the implementation of eCommerce, the launch of the world’s first Mothercare experience store concept, and the brand development of Snapkis, Mimosa, Love Amme, and Sparkle Clean. Fu Wei is also the youngest member admitted into Young Presidents’ Organization in 2017 and is current serving on their executive committee.

Ms. Wong Kai Jun, Founder & Managing Director, Play Nation Pte. Ltd. 

Wong Kai Jun pioneered the Business Solutions Club and represented NTU in international case competitions during her varsity years. She graduated as Valedictorian from Nanyang Business School, NTU, class of 2006, and went on to have a high-flying audit career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, specialising in the banking and finance industry. She was further sent to China by the firm at the tender age of 23, gaining international work exposure early.
 
In 2009, identifying the gap for gaming lifestyle brands in Singapore, Kai Jun left her professional career and co-founded her own start up Play Nation Pte. Ltd. with her partners Gabriel Leow & Wong Kai Lin. Starting from just 1 outlet in 2009, Play Nation grew to have 3 outlets in Singapore, and recently launched a flagship store in Manila, while also establishing an events service arm that services 250 corporate events a year, and recently adding a game publishing studio that publishes its own gaming content for international distribution.
 
Today, Play Nation has grown from the original team of 3 to 60 and Kai Jun looks forward to franchising and opening more Play Nation branches in the Philippines and rest of the world, fulfilling the company’s slogan of “Saving The World From Boredom, One Monkey At A Time”.
