WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?

Join us as we introduce and explore gamification and how it can be used in start-ups and SMEs. During this workshop you will go through the gamification design process rapidly. In the first half of the workshop, you will focus on diverging, exploring and idea generation. The second half of the workshop will be about converging, making design decisions and focus on implementation. 
 
Our facilitators have a strong history of pairing their knowledge of gamification with their client’s knowledge of the subject matter to create memorable and effective gamification experiences. They have used their proprietary Gamification Design Process and Gamification Cards successfully with teams and organisations in many countries. As well as being informative and engaging, this workshop will give you the opportunity to work through a challenge and design a gamification solution to it. This solution can then be taken further after the workshop, with the tools and design methodology needed to implement the idea.

Kerstin Oberprieler, PhD

Kerstin is an award-winning designer and has recently completed her PhD and creates behavioural change in organisations using gamification and Cultural-Historical Activity Theory. She is passionate about creating solutions to help organisations engage employees and achieve high performance, and has worked with Government organisations, private businesses, and not-for-profits in Australia and overseas. Kerstin has given a TEDtalk and is a sought-after speaker in Australia and internationally.
